Note – Any file or folder that shows Get MEGA link in its context menu, is part of a folder sync and is already stored in your MEGA cloud.ģ – Any manually upload file/folder, (not part of a folder sync), is stored independently of the files on your computer. ![]() You can manually upload any such file or folder to your cloud. If you're unsure, right-click any file or folder and if it shows Upload to MEGA in its context menu, that file or folder is NOT syncing with your MEGA cloud. Always create a separate folder, in your cloud, for each folder sync.Ģ – Any folder, not inside an existing folder sync, is independent of your MEGA cloud. Never sync to the Root / of your MEGA cloud, as that will force MEGAsync to download everything from your cloud. Your local folder will then appear on the left side and the cloud folder will appear on the right. I'd delete those folder syncs and start from scratch, see 1.ġ – To have a folder (and all its sub-folders) sync with your cloud, add it as a new folder sync in MEGAsync and create a new folder in your MEGA cloud. To stop the current folders syncing, right-click MEGAsync taskbar, click Settings, Sync tab, then untick all folders shown.
